Defeat at Chelsea was followed by a win over Everton but consecutive defeats for the defending champions against Crystal Palace and Leicester City has rocked the club and the players who looked invincible.

“The season is still long and we are fighting for many things,” said Guardiola as quoted by Marca.com

Leicester scored a fantastic goal; football is football.

“We have to accept it and work even harder.”

Guardiola then insisted that his side focuses on Southampton

“Now we have to think about Southampton,” he added.

“We have to be humble; we have to face this, work harder and immediately change to recover our confidence and obtain good results.
